A new community center/theater for Fire Island Pines. The 7,500 square foot community center, completed in 2009, was commissioned by the not-for profit Fire Island Pines Property Owner's Association to house theatrical productions, religious services, municipal functions & community gatherings.

Whyte Hall Theater was designed as the main space with removable seating, a stage, theatrical lighting & sound and cleverly designed large sliding doors made from Kalwall panels which open the space up to large outdoor decks.

The building also houses a commercial kitchen for catered events & a fully-equipped one bedroom apartment on the top floor for the resident community doctor.
